Welcome to instant GNU Go bots!

The instructions here are absolutely minimal.
There are more things you can do. Please see the
link at the end of this text.

After extracting the files into a folder, you
still have to do two things:

1. Create bot accounts in KGS

1.1 Log on to KGS with the name of your bot and
    click on the Guest button.

1.2 Select the command User, Register and fill out
    all needed information.

1.3 Log out.

1.4 Receive the registration email with your bot's
    password.

1.5 Do the preceding steps for each of your bots.

2. Edit the .bat and .ini files and change your
bots' names and passwords in these files.
Rename the .ini files also. Everything that
starts with "my" has to be changed.

Now you're ready to run the bots. Enjoy!

Notes:

You can also log on as each of your bots and
change each bot's password before step 2. You can
use the same password for all bots.

The very first time it logs on, your bot will not
play. Just close and restart it once.

If your computer is old and slow, run only one
bot, not two, and choose a longer time, like 15
or 20 minutes, rather than 10, in the .ini files.
If your computer has a modern multi-core
processor, you can easily run 2 to 3 bots per
core.

With the right mouse button drag the
kgsGtpBotStopper.exe file to your desktop and
elect to create a shortcut. Later you can use
that shortcut to stop the bots without
interrupting their running games.
